Complete miscarriage symptoms

A complete miscarriage includes the expulsion of all products of conception, including the fetus and the placenta. While miscarriage symptoms are similar to those seen in incomplete miscarriages, they subside quickly after the tissue is expelled. An ultrasound is often performed to ensure that no tissues remain and the womb is empty.
Complete miscarriage means that your pregnancy has been lost. Your womb is empty and your cervix has closed.
Possible causes include a hormonal disturbance, inherited problems, abnormalities of your womb, or a condition where your body's own defence mechanism attacks itself, leading to blood clots forming in the placenta.
